Radical Grass-Roots Art Movement Coming in May

The Atlanta Branch Quilting Group, in collaboration with Kandi Jamison, owner of the Arthouse in  Noblesville, will be working on the art of "yarn-bombing" each Wednesday from 3:00pm-7:00pm on the main floor in Atlanta.  This is part of a community project/installation scheduled for June 1st and 3rd on the square in downtown Noblesville.  For details contact Mary Palmiero at 765-292-2521 or Kandi Jamieson at 317-773-0038.

After-School Movie at the Library

In May we will be showing "Real Steal" rated PG-13 on Tuesday, June 15th at 3:30pm. The movie and popcorn are both free. Patrons under the age of 13 will need to be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Book Discussion Group Coming in April

We will be meeting the 1st & 3rd Wednesday of the month beginning April 4th at 5pm. For the next few months we will be discussing Rhonda Byrne's "The Secret". This should be a lively discussion, being spearheaded by the infamous Magnificent Marje of Atlanta. If you haven't read the book yet, give Mary a call to reserve one for you. Afternoon Movie at the Library

This month's feature will be "Hugo" rated PG. If you haven't read Brian Selznick's "The Invention of Hugo Cabret" you will want to do so before you see the movie. Don't let the size of the book fool you. It's a quick read and is filled with fantastic pictures. The movie will be shown on Tuesday (4/17/12) at 3:30 in the basement. The movie and popcorn are both free!

New Hours in Atlanta!!

The Atlanta Branch is now open every Wednesday from 10:00am until 7:00pm. What a great chance to have some quiet time to yourself while the kids are in school. Take a look at the new books that arrive every month or just browse the shelves for just the right book. In addition to books, magazines, DVDs, and movie CDs, we also have audio books. If you have a long commute to work, listen to a classic on the way. We are still open Monday, Tuesday and Thursday afternoons from 3pm to 7pm.
